the ask:

create a new donut program for kj’s market (in 72 hours)

bluebird’s kitchen sells savory favorites, but comfort can be sweet too; introduce chirp’s sweet hideout

our answer:

branding.

kj’s market has 2 existing in-store brands, so we wanted to make sure the nest matched the existing styles but with it’s own flair.

using existing crowd favorite bird, chirp, from the bluebird logo, we created chirps’s sweet hideout.

colors from kj’s existing brand palette helped to create a simple & clean yet playful design.

we were given existing basic flavors & had to come up with creative and unique names, as well as create sticker designs for each individually wrapped donut.

we also created a box design for a “flock” (dozen) of donuts.
